1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Honeybear B&B services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and services provided by Honeybear B&B, a boutique dog boarding facility located in Austin, Texas.

2. Services Description

Honeybear B&B provides the following services:

Dog Boarding Services

  • Overnight boarding for up to 3 dogs simultaneously
  • Daily exercise and playtime
  • Live camera monitoring access
  • Daily photo and video updates
  • Custom feeding schedules
  • Medication administration

Additional Services

  • Pickup and drop-off service ($40.00 fee)
  • Basic grooming services
  • Emergency veterinary coordination
  • Special celebration packages

All services are subject to availability and may be modified at our discretion with reasonable notice.

3. Eligibility and Requirements

Customer Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must provide valid identification and contact information
  • Must have legal ownership or custody of the pet
  • Must complete all required documentation and agreements

Pet Requirements

  • Vaccinations: Current rabies, DHPP, and bordetella vaccinations
  • Health Status: Pet must be in good health and free from contagious diseases
  • Behavior: Pet must not exhibit aggressive behavior toward humans or other animals
  • Age: Minimum 12 weeks old, maximum age determined on a case-by-case basis
  • Spay/Neuter: Dogs over 6 months must be spayed or neutered

4. Booking and Reservation Policy

Reservation Process

  • All bookings must be made through our official website or by phone
  • Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of required deposit
  • Booking confirmations will be sent via email
  • Changes to reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance

Deposit and Payment Terms

  • Deposit: 20% non-refundable deposit required at time of booking
  • Payment Methods: Credit card, debit card, or approved digital payment platforms
  • Full Payment: Remaining balance due at check-in
  • Additional Charges: Any additional services or fees will be added to final bill

Pricing

  • Base boarding rates start at $75 per night per dog
  • Multi-dog discounts available (contact for details)
  • Extended stay discounts for bookings over 7 days
  • Holiday and peak season rates may apply
  • All prices subject to change with 30 days notice

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation Timeline

  • 24+ hours notice: Full refund of deposit and any payments made
  • Less than 24 hours: Deposit forfeited, remaining payments refunded
  • No-show: Full payment forfeited, no refunds provided

Emergency Cancellations

  • Medical emergencies (verified by veterinarian) receive full refund
  • Family emergencies may be considered on a case-by-case basis
  • Weather-related cancellations due to severe conditions receive full refund

Refund Process

  • Refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
  • Processing fees may apply to certain payment methods

6. Check-in and Check-out Procedures

Check-in Requirements

  • Valid photo identification required
  • All required documentation must be current and complete
  • Pet must be on leash or in appropriate carrier
  • Personal items (toys, bedding, food) must be labeled
  • Emergency contact must be available during stay

Check-out Process

  • Payment of remaining balance due
  • Review of pet's stay summary and any incidents
  • Return of personal items
  • Completion of customer satisfaction survey

Business Hours

  • Check-in: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM daily
  • Check-out: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM daily
  • Emergency contact: 24/7 for urgent matters

7. Pet Care and Safety

Care Standards

  • All pets receive individualized attention and care
  • Daily exercise and supervised playtime provided
  • Feeding schedules followed as specified by owner
  • Medications administered as directed
  • Health monitoring throughout the stay

Safety Measures

  • 24/7 on-site supervision
  • Live camera monitoring system
  • Secure facility with controlled access
  • Emergency procedures and protocols in place
  • Regular facility maintenance and safety inspections

Health and Medical Care

  • Immediate veterinary care for medical emergencies
  • Owner and emergency contact notification for health concerns
  • Administration of prescribed medications
  • Health monitoring and daily wellness checks

8. Liability and Insurance

Limitation of Liability

While we take every precaution to ensure the safety and well-being of your pet, we cannot guarantee against all risks. Our liability is limited as follows:

  • Maximum liability limited to the cost of services provided
  • No liability for pre-existing medical conditions
  • No liability for behavioral issues or aggression
  • No liability for personal property damage or loss

Owner Responsibilities

  • Accurate disclosure of pet's health and behavioral history
  • Current contact information and availability
  • Authorization for emergency veterinary care
  • Payment of all fees and charges

Insurance Coverage

  • Honeybear B&B maintains comprehensive liability insurance
  • Coverage includes facility operations and pet care activities
  • Policy details available upon request
  • Owners are encouraged to maintain their own pet insurance

9. Prohibited Items and Behaviors

Prohibited Items

  • Aggressive or dangerous dogs
  • Dogs with contagious diseases
  • Puppies under 12 weeks of age
  • Dogs that are not housebroken
  • Dogs with severe separation anxiety or destructive behaviors

Prohibited Behaviors

  • Physical or verbal abuse of staff or other pets
  • Failure to follow facility rules and procedures
  • Providing false information about pet's health or behavior
  • Unauthorized access to restricted areas
  • Disruptive behavior that affects other guests

Consequences

  • Immediate removal from facility for serious violations
  • No refund for early departure due to policy violations
  • Permanent ban for repeated violations
  • Legal action for damage to property or injury to staff

10. Privacy and Data Protection

12. Dispute Resolution

  • Response within 48 hours for urgent matters

Legal Resolution

  • Disputes governed by Texas state law
  • Jurisdiction in Travis County, Texas
  • Arbitration may be required for certain disputes
  • Class action waivers apply where permitted by law

13. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters (hurricanes, floods, earthquakes)
  • Government actions or regulations
  • Public health emergencies
  • Utility failures or infrastructure issues
  • Labor disputes or strikes

In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to provide alternative arrangements or full refunds.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. We will notify customers of material changes through:
