Meet the Paw-rents

Hi, I'm Lilly — founder of Honeybear B&B

I'm Lilly Lima, founder and dog care specialist behind Honeybear B&B. What started as a love letter to my own pup grew into Austin's only true boutique dog boarding home — a small, sun-lit Easton Park retreat where every guest is treated like family.

Honeybear B&B is named for our beloved mascot — a wire-haired sweetheart who taught us what dogs really need away from home: warmth, patience, and a sunny spot to curl up in. By capping the house at 3 VIPaws at a time, I can give every dog the home-cooked attention, gentle routines, and belly rubs they'd get from their own family.

When your pup stays with us, they don't just get boarded — they become The Honeybear, with the royal treatment, a personalized care plan, and live cameras so you never miss a moment.

Frequently asked

What makes Honeybear B&B different from other dog boarding facilities?+

We're Austin's only true boutique dog boarding home — capped at just 3 dogs at a time. That means personalized, one-on-one attention that's impossible at larger facilities. Your pup becomes The Honeybear and gets the royal treatment: exclusive amenities, a personalized care plan, and the kind of devotion that makes them feel like the most special dog in Austin.

What are your hours?+

Standard hours are 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, seven days a week, with flexible pickup and drop-off windows to fit your schedule. We monitor 24/7 and can be reached for after-hours emergencies.

Do you offer pickup & drop-off?+

Yes — VIP door-to-door transportation throughout Easton Park and the greater Austin area. Available as an add-on at booking.

Can I visit my dog during their stay?+

We don't host visits during stays — they tend to disrupt routine and stress dogs out. Instead, you get 24/7 live camera access plus daily photo and video updates so you can watch your Honeybear enjoy their stay in real time.

Do you have size or breed restrictions?+

We typically host dogs up to about 35 lbs, evaluated case-by-case. All breeds welcome as long as your pup is well-socialized and a good fit for our intimate boutique setting. We always start with a complimentary meet & greet.

Can I board multiple dogs from the same family?+

Absolutely — we love hosting siblings together. Since we cap the home at 3 dogs total, multi-dog families essentially get the whole boutique to themselves.

Are vaccinations required?+

Yes — current Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella vaccinations are required to keep every VIPaw safe and healthy.

What do I need to bring?+

Just their food and any medications. We supply linens, bowls, toys, and treats — but a familiar t-shirt or blanket from home is always welcome.
